Wanda Muro
Food Bank & Community Needs Ministry
Brief info
I was born and raised in Southern California. In my early twenties, a pivotal event changed my life when I accepted Jesus Christ. My life instantly changed, and I have never looked back. During this time, I found a new church family within the Church of the Nazarene, which developed me into a dedicated member of over 35+ years. Being a church member has brought me great joy and led to many great opportunities to serve in multiple ministry areas at Cerritos Crossroads Multinational. Throughout the years, you could have found me as a Sunday School teacher working with kids ranging from kindergarten to High School or in a leadership role like serving as a church board member overseeing day-to-day operations. One of the greatest passions I have had is the privilege to lead and have been working alongside others to initiate and sustain a community outreach ministry, which includes a food pantry, meals to individuals and basic needs such as showers, clothes, and God's word. The teams I am a part of have been a great source of pride for me, as we are all here for one reason: to serve as Jesus would.
I like my coffee strong with cream and one “Splenda.”
